Getting to UConn

UConn Pre-College Summer students will be residing in at the Storrs Campus. As you enter the Storrs campus, look out for program signs as they will direct you to the check-in location.

Campus and Road Construction

Please be advised that there will be a significant amount of construction in and around the Storrs campus as renovations will be underway on campus and the surrounding roadways. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. For this reason, we ask that you allow more than enough time for your arrival.

Parking on Campus

Students and belongings may be dropped off at the entrance of the residence hall. Please note there is no parking on site.

After student drop off, please proceed by parking in the nearest permitted parking lot. University parking rules and regulations are strictly enforced between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., weekdays unless otherwise posted. After 5:00 p.m. on weekdays, and on weekends, visitors may park in any on-campus space not designated as reserved, restricted, or limited.

Parking is specifically prohibited on alleyways, drive lanes, driveways, fire lanes, pedestrian sidewalks and pedestrian ways, roadways and any other location that is not specifically posted or marked to clearly accommodate parking. Although the surface conditions in several University parking areas are unsuited to pavement markings, signage is provided within them to specify their intended uses.

State-issued handicap parking placards alone do not authorize parking on any of the surface parking lots exclusively reserved for UConn paid permit parking.  Visitors with state-issued handicap placards/plates may park within any of UConn's fee-paid parking spaces such as PayByPhone, metered or garage parking spaces. UConn provides a variety of accessible van and shuttle services on the Storrs Campus. Information regarding those services can be found on the university’s Accessibility website or by calling (860) 486-4991.

UConn Pre-College Summer is not responsible for anyone who receives a parking ticket because they parked in the wrong location.

The following parking lots are located near the residence hall:

Visitors may also park in either the North or South parking garages.
