Course Enrollment

Participants will receive an application decision to UConn Pre-College Summer via email. The email will indicate you to visit your Status Portal to view your Decision Letter. Please read the letter thoroughly as it will include information on next steps.

Many courses fill up quickly, and students are advised to enroll as soon as possible after being accepted and receiving enrollment information. Spots in courses are not guaranteed until a participant completes the Course Enrollment form and submits the $300 non-refundable deposit.

Students must complete the course enrollment process with a parent/guardian or authorized adult.

To complete your enrollment, you will need the following information:

  1. Completed Online Enrollment Form – During this step, you will be able to select the course(s) you want to enroll in.
  2. Course Deposit – A $300.00 non-refundable deposit is required to commit to the program at the time of course enrollment. This deposit will be credited to your program fee’s account balance.
  3. Student Photo – You are required to provide a photo (headshot) for purposes of identification while participating in PCS.
  4. Forms – Parental consent and waiver forms are required for all UConn Pre-College Summer participants. All forms must be completed and uploaded to the enrollment website by June 10th.

Waitlist Process

If your desired course is not listed on the Course Enrollment checklist form, it means it is full.  Your options are to join the wait list by completing the Waitlist Form for that specific course and/or enroll in a different course. The Waitlist Form is accessible on the Status Portal and only available to admitted participants in the program.

A $300 deposit is not required for participants looking to complete the Waitlist Form. Availability is based on other participant cancellations and we cannot guarantee a spot will become available. Should a spot become available, the next participant on the waitlist will be contacted via email. At which point you will have 48 hours to let us know of your intent be enrolled or not.

Participants also have to option to proceed to enroll in a different course while being on the waitlist for another course. Please note that if you do enroll in a different course by completing the Course Enrollment form, a $300 deposit is required.
