Nella is the Director of the Pre-College Summer Program and is the Assistant Director of Academic Outreach for Early College Experience for the Office of Early College Programs. Nella oversees all operations and processes for PCS, specifically the academic course offering schedule and course enrollment process. Nella received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut and her Master’s in Education Administration from Illinois State University.

Melanie is the Associate Director of Pre-College Summer and Program Assistant for ECE Academic Standards for the Office of Early College Programs. Melanie's primary responsibilities for PCS include spearheading social media and marketing campaigns through various uses of technology and applications. She also oversees the application review process for PCS. Melanie attended the University of Connecticut where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.

Cody is the Program Coordinator for the Pre-College Summer Program. Cody's primary responsibilities include managing program communications, developing the program's residential and co-curriculum, and spearheading new projects and initiatives. Cody also assists with the review of student applications and collaborates regularly with our graduate assistants to manage our program's rigorous staff hiring process. Cody has bachelors degrees in management and marketing from Shippensburg University, and a masters degree in higher education and students affairs from the University of Connecticut.

Nicole is a Graduate Assistant for the Pre-College Summer Program, and is also currently enrolled in the Higher Education and Student Affairs master's program at the University of Connecticut. Nicole is primarily responsible for the recruitment, hiring, training, and supervision of PCS residential staff, as well as pursuing initiatives to ensure PCS is accessible to as many qualified, interested students as possible. Upon completing her bachelor's degree in Political Science and Sociology at Furman University, Nicole served a full term of service as an AmeriCorps member with College Forward.

Gordon is a Media Producer for the Educational Technologies department for the UConn Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL). Gordon produces custom, high-definition media in support of education and instruction for Pre-College Summer.

Bill provides marketing support for academic program partners, including survey research, planning, search engine optimization, customer relationship management, website development, tracking, and analysis.

Sue Schadt
Marketing Outreach and Webmaster, CETL
Sue is responsible for planning, developing, executing graphic design, web-design, and marketing strategies needed to support the marketing and communication plans of all CETL units, including Pre-College Summer.
