Experimenting with Programming and Technological Innovation

Here at the University of Connecticut, we aim to combine your curiosity, passion for innovation and interest in emerging technology into a one-week course that could help you determine your career path. Our Digital Media: Intro to Programming course emphasizes the conceptual and practical approaches to programming, encourages students to experiment broadly and helps students to develop their personal processes.

This course will provide an introductory experience into coding and mobile application development. Through lecture and hands on exercises, students will be introduced to the processes, technologies, and environment of mobile applications. Emphasis will be on building simple android applications with the MIT App Inventor to gain introductory knowledge of programming concepts and design.
